What is a LiFePO4 battery?

LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is one of the safest and most stable lithium battery chemistries. It offers a longer lifespan, better thermal stability, and consistent power output compared to traditional lead-acid or other lithium batteries.

How long do Blwny batteries last?

Our LiFePO4 batteries are rated for 4,000+ charge cycles. In real-world use, that typically translates to 8–15 years of service depending on your application, depth of discharge, and charging habits — far outlasting standard lead-acid batteries.

Are your batteries safe?

Yes. Every battery includes a built-in smart Battery Management System (BMS) that protects against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, overcurrent, and overheating. We use automotive-grade cells and rugged alloy housings for added safety.

Which battery should I choose for my vehicle?

It depends on your system voltage and motor wattage:

• 24V (21Ah) — e-bikes, scooters, mini ATVs, and solar storage (250W–1,500W motors)
• 48V (105Ah) — golf carts (Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, ICON), NEVs, and utility vehicles
• 72V (40Ah / 50Ah) — e-trikes, scooters, motorcycles, and custom EV builds (250W–3,500W motors)

How long does it take to charge?

Charging time depends on the battery and included charger. For example, the 24V 21Ah charges in about 6–7 hours with its 3A charger, while the 72V 50Ah takes 8–9 hours with its 5A charger. Each product page lists the exact specs and included charger.

Can I replace my lead-acid battery directly?

In most cases, yes — our batteries are designed as a direct drop-in upgrade for lead-acid systems of the same voltage. You may need a compatible charger for lithium chemistry. Always confirm voltage and connector compatibility before ordering.

Do the batteries work in cold weather?

Our LiFePO4 batteries operate from -20°C to 60°C. Performance and charging efficiency can be reduced in freezing temperatures, so for sub-zero charging we recommend warming the battery to above 0°C first.

What connectors are included?

Most models include Anderson and/or XT90/XT60 connectors, plus a matching charger and an English user manual. See each product's "What's in the Box" section for exact contents.
